The NY Knicks Team Irate Me

As usual the New York Knicks lost its first three games of the regular season. Yet we can say close games, but big margins.

Heading into the season the front office didn’t really make a lot of moves during the offseason. Count ‘em, they re-signed David Lee and Nate Robinson to one year contracts, and they acquired a former 2nd overall pick in Darko Miliclic. The difference this season, not much.

After three games in w/c I have watched all of them it’s safe to conclude that the Knicks are still the Knicks. Or better yet, Mike D’ Antoni is still Mike D’Antoni.  Imagine they are giving up 119 points per game and they let their opponent shoot 50% from the field. To add insult, the Knicks are attempting a whopping 38 three pointers a game, making less than 30% of those. That’s just a big wow!

I know you would say its too early to say, but I couldn’t just help get disappointed with what I am seeing. Starbury is right, they are racing down the floor to jack up three pointers after three pointers and its ugly ball. The Knicks offense is predictable at worst! Al Harrington is shooting less than 20 percent from down town and guess what, Danilo Gallinari has been jacking up 12 threepoint attempts every game w/c makes him look like the white version of Antoine Walker!

What is Mr D ‘Antoni’s doing? You’re not gonna persuade LeBron if you’re playing ball that way! Start playing real basketball and start winning games!

  1. Breeme,

LOLS. I feel the same. I think they played reckless in the first three games and another thing to take note is they fall in large margins early. That definitely is not a good thing
