Most readers of this blog really know that I’m “sort” kind of a fan of the Knicks while new readers here may seem to really think this is a Knicks Blog, but the truth is its not.
The Knicks shore their lineup by adding guard Larry Hughes and athletic biggie Chris Wilcox beating the trade deadline. While the move isn’t the most praised move that day (some say its even a despicable one), I believe the acquisitions helped the Knicks fill the hole they have in their roster. The Knicks are lacking a shooting guard and some biggies inside. The guard position is an evident thing, after the Knicks traded Jamal Crawford the thought Cuttino Mobley is gonna be their replacement until he called it quits because of heart disease. Gone are the days where Nate Robinson has to play the shooting guard position or Q-Rich getting punished by quicker guards or so. The Wilcox deal is bad except for the fact that they just gave a guy named Malik Rose and both have an expiring contract.
As for now Im not really sure on how those two guys would fit into Mike D’Antoni’s system but one thing is clear, the Knicks are serious about getting into the playoffs this season. Watching the two Knicks game with Hughes, I wanted to make an appeal to the owner of the site that yells to Hughes for taking so many bad shots to please continue posting again. Maybe that way Larry Hughes can “reclaim” his “fine” shooting touch.
Oh well, they’ve won 2 of their first 3 games after the all star weekend and its always a good start…

Getting Hughes is a retarded thing but i guess its not because the Knicks haven’t given up someone valuable in exchange for him,
