So aside from the intention of putting the Blazers in the position to pay the luxury tax, I don’t see any reason why the Memphis should sign Darius Miles.
The Memphis have resigned Darius Miles to another 10 day contract as they said they were “impressed” with what they’ve seen with Miles. Ok, I know Darius used to be the “next Kevin Garnett” but then I don’t really see any value of getting Miles. I watched how Miles played after his crippling injury and it’s evident the guy’s game is nothing more than a crap. 10 day contract is just 10 days and its short, but believe me the longer Darius stays on a team, the more dangerous he becomes as he ruins each and every team’s locker room that he has played for. Ok I know it sucks to rant so I am stopping here but before I do here’s what hoopshype has to say with Darius
Was one of the most prolific dunkers in the NBA… Could not be any other way with those long arms and those leaping skills… Good ballhandler… Bad shooter… Ran the floor extremely well… Very inconsistent… Bad attitude… Very apathetic… Recovered from injury
What say you?

it must be said that Miles is really more mature now than he ever was, and cleaned up his act. Maybe we should give him a chance here….?
Mel, Derek, did you guys vote? I”m talking about the All-Stars here. I voted, wrote a blog about it, but who did you vote for? Darius Miles? Stephon Marbury?
