Just recently today LeBron James was awarded as this season’s Most Valuable Player. LeBron is just 24 years old and was the third youngest player to capture the MVP award behind Wes Unseld and Moses Malone. This season he has averaged an amazing 28.4 points, 7.6 rebounds and 7.2 assists this season. Kobe Bryant and Dwayne Wade settled for second and third in voting respectively.
I think LeBron winning the MVP award is the easiest decision ever made. Honestly! No offense to other candidate’s fans but it’s just easy to say it. It’s not just how well he played this season but also how superb his team has been. Of course the Mo Williams acquisition is an impact but if you actually look at Cleveland’s team, its not really a potent as other squad’s roster. And for them to be at the top means a lot. It’s no secret that to be an MVP, you’re team has to be successful as well. We’ve seen it the past few years w/Kobe Bryant last year, then Steve Nash and Dirk Nowitzki.
LeBron just showed everything this season. He worked so hard improving his perimeter shooting, and getting better overall. It’s also not surprising to see him came second in the voting of this year’s Defensive player of the year. Can you name me other potent offensive player who can defend like LeBron? Well overall I just see him getting better and better. Let’s not forget he’s just 24 and he’s not yet even in his prime! Just scary to think of how better he will become in future.

i think you nailed it right about their lineup… if you a look at their lineup it really isn’t a talented as other squads. I mean after mo and lebron, there really isn’t anyone there that could be considered as talented.. and for them to be at the top of the league means a lot…
