Several sources from ESPN are indicating that the Bobcats are interested in acquiring the disgruntled guard Jamal Tinsley. The Bobcats would send Raymond Felton and some other players n return. Tinsley has been ruled to stay away from the team until he’s finally shipped. Here’s the rumor:
The discussions between the teams have been ongoing for weeks, though the parameters and pieces have continually changed. If the deal comes to fruition, the sources said, it would likely include Tinsley, Jeff Foster and a third player (Brandon Rush, Stephen Graham, Marquis Daniels) going to the Bobcats for Felton, Nazr Mohammed and Sean May.
Jamal Tinsley still has about 15+ million in his 2 year contract which makes him difficult to move aside from the fact he’s a bad locker room guy. Talent-wise though, its a great deal for both teams. Tinsley can very well be awesome under Hall of Famer Larry Brown and Felton can certainly add talent to the young and upcoming Indiana team.
In my opinion, the result of this trade can be crucial for Charlotte Bobcats. They are so much in the running for the playoffs this year and although the talent of their team has diminishly decreased. Go Charlotte Bobcats!
