Ok, the season is still young and plenty of games still. The New York Knicks finally have seemed to discover how to have a winning season, albeit for 8 games. The NY Knicks is 5-3 this season, never had any loss when they go over 100 points and it seems to be a promising season for them, don’t you think? Of course, last summer they ended Isiah Thomas’ era and started out with bright management acquisitions. Although this doesn’t prove much for the Knicks (for keeping on underachieving), many including me have their hopes renewed.
So what’s new w/the Knicks? An uptempo high scoring game, no Stephon Marbury, and Wilson Chandler/Chris Duhon. Actually I am really intrigued with the talent of Wilson Chandler. I mean, last year he languished into the bench and most people don’t even know him. Right now he’s as good as a starting player. He shoots extremely at a high percentage and he is blending well w/the run and gun game of D’Antoni. Last night’s performance of his was really an eye-opener. Chris Duhon on the other hand is as stable as he was in Chicago. I believe the Knicks got a stabilizing guard for the first time since a long time in Duhon. Duhon doesn’t bother with his ballhog teammates and instead just plays great defense.
On the bench, Nate Robinsons seems to be a supersub for the Knicks. He’s been averaging in double figures and has proven to be a reliable small man. David Lee and Zach Randolph are playing great as well. You can never doubt about the Knicks firepower even years before. They have great talents on their team that just does not seem to blend well. Again it’s too early to say something about them but it damn feel good to see them playing “differently” this year. Maybe the Knicks can enter the playoffs now in the weak Eastern Conference.

yeah I do hope this is the start of better things for them and for the future of the knickerbockers…
I dont think the knicks will be any good this season, they already lost 3 in a row and they traded some of there best players, Zack Randolph and Jamal Crawford.
