If you can choose a franchise player, what position would you choose?

I know that this blog has an on-going poll regarding the top candidates for the ROY. But I wrote this article because I’m very curious about how other people choose their franchise cornerstone and the position it plays. For example: I would love my franchise player to be a power forward with likes of Elton Brand, and build supporting cast around him. My ideal Small Forward would be the likes of Kyle Korver a shooter who can expand the floor, while I prefer a defensive minded Center like Theo Ratliff, and for my backcourt a shooting guard that can slash and defend and a point guard that can overtake the game with his passing and a clutch performer.

So which position will you choose? You can justify your answer through making a concrete explanation in your comment.
