Bogans Adds Depth To Spurs

San Antonio Spurs just signed the services of guard/forward Keith Bogans. Bogans, a journeyman who has played for 5 teams in 7 seasons, is expected to make the Spurs lineup deeper.

Bogans had a so-so performance last season by averaging 5.6 points per game with a sporadic playing time. In his newest stint, he is expected to give tough defense just as like Bruce Bowen did last season. The Spurs traded away Bowen to the Bucks in exchange for Richard Jefferson. Bowen retired since then.

Keith Bogans is a solid addition to the Spurs, no doubt. The Spurs are known for incorporating players well and bring the best in them. What do you think?

  1. Matt,

I’m a huge Bogans fan. I was actually surprised when he wasn’t drafted, I think people thought that he was undersized but he certainly doesn’t play like it!

  2. Melvin,

undersized? I thought he was good for his size actually..

  3. Matt,

Your right I better get my facts straight, I must have confused him with someone else, He actually was drafted and is actually 6-5, great size for a point guard. My bad. :)
