The Knicks best season was way back 1998, when they captured the Eastern Conference Crown. Now, the Knicks are just a mess, making news from every side of the basketball world, losing games more than anyone and giving fans 1000 reasons to hate them. I have read many blogs about fixing the Knicks. No disrespect, but this one will be different and more organized. It is a step by step thing on how to make the Knicks look good. Read carefully because you may not see anything that is better than this:
- Let Zeke go. Well, how do you? How do we? Dolan is too foolish to keep him. The answer is just keep on chanting “Fire Isiah” thing. This is the only best thing that is left considering that the owner loves him. Isiah, at least may realize he is just a shame in the city and franchise.
- Buy Marbury out. No trade can be available (and is not advisable). Steph had said that he wanted to die as a Knick. Now that his father is dead, I’m not sure if he still wanted to be in NY. Another is he’s generous in giving discounts. Who knows?
- Herb Williams as a coach. Herb has shown his loyalty to this turbulent Franchise and I believe its time for him to be rewarded. He is a great coach and I don’t see any reasons why not him.
- David Lee is a god. Who doesn’t love a guy like David? David Lee is a spark off the bench who can give double-double every night. Give him the minutes he deserves. Later, you’ll find out what makes no.4 included.
- Keep Malik Rose. No raise of eyebrows please. Malik came from a godly team down to a demonic one. One good thing is he is a great locker room guy. He doesn’t whine as many veterans do. Besides, it’s tough to move him.
- Keep Jerome James. Naaaah!!! What makes him synonymous with mountains? Yes he is IMMOVABLE! The team doesn’t show any interest of buying him out. If he gets healthy then he might be the savior of the Knicks’ dying frontline defense.
- Try to move Jared Jeffries. Impossible? No its not. Jared is overrated and Balkman even plays better than him. So how will we move him? Look from expiring contracts (or even longer contracts)
- Zach is the highlander. Zach’s work ethic in a Knickerbocker uniform is just awesome. He is one of the few consistent guys on NY. The only thing that he can’t do is blocks shots. Hire Patrick Ewing please.
- Crawford, big responsibilities. Jamal’s journey is amazing. In 2005 the Knicks acquired Q-Rich and he lost his playing time (because Larry Brown prefers Q-Rich at 2). Last year they acquired Steve Francis, again Crawford was demoted. The thing is Crawford is willing to give anything that the team needs. He is consistent in contributing big numbers and clutch performances. This is his time.
- Get Rid of Eddy Curry. This is the spotlight here. I don’t know why Isiah revolves the team around him. His defense is a putrid; he turns the ball over a lot, doesn’t pass the ball well, very slow, and doesn’t know how to pick apples. Great thing is he has a great market value and many team will surely be interested.
- More Discounts. No question the fans will appreciate it. The Big Apple can be really big again.
- Lose as much games as they can. If they will follow the first eleven steps, losing will be inevitable and playoff will be out of reach (at least for the season). The reason is to get a high draft pick next year.
- Change the logo (for next year). Renaissance baby! The Nuggets changed their logo upon the arrival of Carmelo Anthony and look they start winning games! This will erase the scars of bad memories in NY.
- OJ Mayo. If they end up having the worst record in the league they are still unsure that they will get the big 1. So, make efforts to get OJ (hope he will join next year). He’s for real!
- Pray. As Christians we were thought that prayer is the most powerful weapon. If you are a real fan then a prayer is imperative.

Well, at least if Isiah will be fired it will be a big help… it gets the job done 50%
… Man, I have remembered you declaring the Knicks will make the playoffs with no restrictions, now yu come here and say the need for packing… incest…
Hi Melvin,
Thanks for the comment on my blog. Really appreciate it. Please drop by more oftenly, would love to hear more from you.
I will make more visit to your blog in the future.
Keep up the good work you have done here.
Moving Marbury is going to be hard. He’s got a ridiculous contract, and he’s been a loser everywhere he goes. Very talented player, but just can’t get it done it seems. This is the same guy that claimed “I’m the best point guard in the NBA” prior to games facing Jason Kidd, then went to outscore Kidd, but its Kidd’s team who won the games of course. Crawford is a DANGEROUS scorer – thing with him is you never know what you’ll get , some nights he explodes for 51!
first sorry for but logging in my browser doesn’t accept my username (and I don’t know whY)
LKDUDE – I have said that because I feel it (don’t you?) they have all the tools. They have done everything except for winning. Well at least every person makes mistake not because they’re wrong but because soemtimes things just don’t work
Well, you don’t have something to be thankful for, what I did was to advertise on your site.. LOL =)
Anyway, blogs are communities, so thats the way it goes…
Alex… Yes every person who reads this one texted me saying that part is funny.. =)
“Zach Randolph’s work ethic” is a joke… Randoplh might have change but still he’s a guy who loses focus on a game always… I have seen a couple of times in yesterdays game wherein he had 2 ugly turnovers…
And how about no.15? LOL
Yeah, but the best thing is he improved… Teach, teach, teach, that’s what coaches preach…
Man, do your research well! The Knick led by Allan Houston and Latrell Spreewel won the Eastern Conference Crown in 1999 when the NBA season was shortened due to the Lockout… Not 1998 like the one posted on your article..
I agree with the 15 ways to revive the Knicks.. I think removing Starburry, Curry, and Isiah will make the team forget about it’s turbulent past. Give David Lee, Crawford and Zach the responsibilities of turning around the Knicks Franchise and try to get OJ Mayo! If they will have this kind of line up where David Lee at C, Zach at PF, Crawford at SG, OJ MAYO at PG and a healthy Q-Rich at SF will give them a real future in rebuilding the lost glory of the Knicks!
Holy Crap, 5 guys didnt even remind me of my mistake…. Thanks,,, anyway im a lil lazy in making research…
is your job fella!
So you’re saying everyone can easily say something hard and make an apology at the end? Wow, thats incest! You’re a hypocrite man…
whew!! hard to swallow…
Lkdude… I have a great fear you may need a knife! You see a blog doesn’t say its true, it says something about my opinions. So shitty shitty fag you don’t expect me to be accurate… you’re a kickass to call me a hyprocrite….
wow…insane!!!
Only problem with Lee is it seems lately he just can’t get the ball to drop in the hoop!
