Clippers Sends Randolph To Grizz

The Memphis Grizzlies and Los Angeles Clippers agreed to swap Quentin Richardson and Zach Randolph, Wednesday. This move only solidifies that Blake Griffin would be undoubtedly the starting forward for the Clips next season. For the Grizzlies, they trade Richardson shortly after acquiring him last week in exchange for Darko Milicic.

The trade, I believe is a good deal for both teams. The Clips got a good (injury-prone) wingman plus enabling Blake Griffin to be their starting forward while Memphis tabbed a double-double type of big man (to pair with Thabeet) to help them next season. What do you think?

Milwaukie Bucks: Ramon Sessions in, Charlie Villanueva not so sure

The Milwaukee Bucks have made qualifying offers to restricted free agent guard Ramon Sessions and forward Ersan Ilyasova, but will not make an offer to forward Charlie Villanueva — allowing one of their top scorers from last season to become an unrestricted free agent.

Wow, surprising, but not at the same time… He was a bit streaky, but has amazing potential if he can be more reliable. My guess is that the Bucks only need one prolific twitterer at a time though :)

Thoughts On Shaq Going To Cavs

This is going to be an exciting offseason, no doubt! With big names like Shaquille O’Neal and Vince Carter going different places, I think there is stilla lot to expect and see. Anyways today I would share my views on the acquisition of Shaquille O’Neal.

Well first and foremost I would like to say that in my opinion, Cleveland really lost nothing by acquiring Shaq. Quality wise, I think Shaq has shown (last season) that he is still capable of being dominant and he was in good shape last season. I remember that 40-point game that he had where he almost showed his old days. Ben Wallace, on the other hand is just a shadow of what he was… Oftenly riddled by a variety of injuries, Wallace has evidently declined (was sparingly used last playoffs). Pavlovic is a great talent however, he’s been inconsistent at times. He might fit well with Phoenix though as Phoenix can use his size and shooting.

Cap space wise, its equal as well. All contracts would run until 2009/10, in which teams would scramble for a talented free agent pool. I think Cleveland has never gambled whatsoever, why? If Shaq turned out to be a bust (again) in Cleveland, then they can simply just let his contract expire (but I doubt that would be the case). I don’t know but I am just so ecstatic to see LeBron James play with Shaq and the whole Cavaliers team. It’s something that people are all looking forward next season.

For Phoenix I don’t know… I’m not sure if Big Ben would suit the run and gun style. And to add, no one is sure on where the franchise is really going. thoughts?
